Kubernetes is an 'Open Source hit', with over 1,000 contributors and based on the experience of developers running one of the world's largest computing platform inside Google. In this talk, David Aronchick, senior product manager for Google Container Engine and Kubernetes, will discuss the history of the technology, the decision to open source the software and how it will be part of a computing revolution combining hybrid cloud, virtualized applications and cloud-native distributed systems. David will discuss how OpenStack and Kubernetes are better together and the future roadmap.
