Lift and shift Enterprise Workloads to Baremetal Service, with Nuage Networks & Fujitsu K5

Running workloads on bare metal is important to both enterprise and telco customers alike for various applications that demand higher efficiency, real-time operations, low latency, etc. Another use case that is emerging is that of staging a PaaS/Container cluster on top of a bare-metal server. These use cases and applications are driving a need for automated bare-metal IaaS offering with unique requirements like multi-tenant networking, VLAN Transparency, VLAN Trunking, port groups/MC-LAG, Security Groups for bare metals. In this session, we will share our experiences on building an Openstack Ironic based bare-metal service, supporting these unique requirements with fully automated ToR/Leaf orchestration using Nuage SDN solution. In addition, one of our premier customers, Fujitsu will share their experiences in deploying a bare-metal-as-a-service offering for their public cloud using Nuage SDN solution.
