NetApp - I want it now!  Or, doing more with less for accelerating application development for Developers.

TBA

What can I expect to learn?

More often then not code development takes more time and resources than planned for.  Developers lose time waiting for code to compile in their respective workspaces, hoping they asked for just enough resources, but not so much as to break-the-bank.  Yet, if they underestimate then they will loose even more time.

Through the use of simple templates, scripts and API’s, near instantaneous workspace creation can be put in the hands of developers, no matter where they are doing the work.  This session will show you how using some simple tricks and tools that take advantage of a combination features including snapshots and clones.  Developers can now create workspace in seconds without taking up additional resources thereby reducing the build time.

Key Takeaways

1) Instantaneous user workspace creation to improve developer’s productivity.

2) Provide faster build cycles with a high degree of storage space efficiency

3) Provision on demand compute resources in a hybrid cloud model for builds that have bursts of workloads.

Why this session should be selected

Optimizing underlying infrastructure can accelerate the build cycles for the developers.
