As of 2014, Wei Yao started participate in OpenStack Community. Fields he pay attention to include Neutron, OpenDayLight and other sdn solutions. He also contribute to a number of python network tools and libraries such as scapy and pypcap.
For the sake of slove the problem of openstack networking deploying and maintenance, he and his colleagues create a new open source project name steth.
Wei Yao also acquaint himself with programming language, and these skills help him write more efficient software.
