Dr. Abhishek Gupta is a Cloud Security Architect at Intel Corp, USA. In this role, he performs research and development of solutions for cloud security with focus on software defined infrastructures, containers, Docker, Mesos etc. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His PhD thesis was focused on effective High Performance Computing (HPC) in the Cloud. Prior to that, he received a B.Tech and MS in Computer Science from IIT Roorkee, India, and UIUC respectively.
