I've worked as a software engineer and sysadmin for a bit more than a decade.
I started out doing home networking and small portfolio type websites. The, working at several different software companies, I continued to create web applications and scalable backends for companies such as the yellow pages websites in europe, housing websites in the Netherlands and online learning environments for many universities, based on Sakai.
It became time for a new challenge. I co-founded a Software and marketing company called Tosti Creative. I became the DevOps/sysadmin at our own company and we created serveral own products and did projects for companies like Coca-Cola and Heineken.
I sold my shares and started freelancing as a full-stack engineer.
Now I work at leafcloud, a sustainable public cloud. There I have the responsibility for building and maintaining our platform and infrastructure.
