Increasing adoption of Open Source and Open Standards is David Duffey's raison d'être.  He has attained advanced technical certifications from Red Hat, SuSe, Ubuntu, and Mirantis to train and architect solutions for the world's largest adopters of Open Source.  He has held lead roles at Red Hat and Canonical in helping hardware partners capture more market share and provide jointly supported open source products.  David graduated with honors in Computer Science and Mathematics from Kansas State University and with an EMBA from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business.  David calls Austin, TX his home but spends every summer in Japan where his kids attend school.
