Open Stack telco and enterprise adoption
I am currently Vice President, Head of Portfolio Management & Solution Strategy for Ericsson’s Product Area Cloud. My responsibilities include cloud strategy, portfolio management, solution development, strategic alliances, open source community advocacy and ecosystem development. I have over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure and ecosystem development having held strategy, product development, sales, business development and ecosystem leadership positions with CenturyLink, Joyent, Verizon, Totality and Exodus.
I am an open source advocate. I contributed to early formation of node.js and Cloud Foundry communities, sit on the Red Hat Strategic Advisory Board and currently guide cloud strategy for Ericsson's open source community involvement with CNCF, Open Stack, OPNFV and OCP.
I am also a former corporate securities and intellectual property attorney who put myself through law school coding. I still pursue my law and technology interest as a Visiting Scholar at Washington University School of Law researching socially sustainable privacy practices, technologies, laws and regulations.
