Stay hungry, stay foolish
I have been a senior engineer of Cloud Development Team which is using OpenStack at Samsung SDS. I have an experience of OpenStack Nova since Diablo.
I have experienced to contribute nova bug fix.
I've a troubleshooting the following issues.
1. Converting "Flat Network" to "vlan Network".
2. Adapting to network bandwidth between VMs.
3. Bug fix.
4. Performance tuning.
5. Controlling a Block Storage.
I developed Cinder local block storage to run Hadoop cluster based on OpenStack.
Sometimes I have lectured about OpenStack Nova in Samsung SDS.
Recently I tested to install OpenStack a top of IBM Softlayer baremetal servers and tested about Cinder with Solidfire storage.
I have experienced in developing Cloud system OpenStack & KVM, VMWare hypervisor as a project manager and architect.
I have developed PaaS using Stackato which is based on Cloud Foundry and I'm developing another PaaS only using Open Source. (especially Kubernetes & Docker)
Recently I installed OpenStack Mitaka upstream source for PoC, which consist of one controller& Neutron Network, five Compute Nodes, three ceph storage. All of them are x86 physical machine. Over 30vms are running for development environment, such as ONOS, Kubernetes, Druid, Hadoop, Spark, Hive and so on.
Another experience is a installation of community Kubernetes and Tectonic of CoreOS. Each of cluster are consist of 4 physical x86 machine. One deployment, One master node and two worker node. For easy installation of Kubernetes, I put up ansible scrips on github.
I'm involved in the following OpenStack projects: Dashboard (Horizon),Compute Service (Nova),Networking (Neutron),Object Store (Swift),Block Storage (Cinder),Identity service (Keystone),Image Service (Glance),Container deployment (Kolla)
