Todd M. Moore, IBM Vice President, has a diverse background in hardware and software development, architecture, design and product management. He is currently responsible for IBM's open technologies and partnerships surrounding Cloud Computing, Mobile, Social Business, and Analytics. He has served in executive roles in both IBM's Software Group (SWG) and System & Technology Group (STG). Prior to his current role, Todd worked with IBM Acquisitions to integrate new members of the IBM community. He also lead IBM's WebServices, Security and Restful Services development for WebSphere. He has extensive experience in mobile and distributed computing systems, with a background spanning embedded devices to large parallel systems. Before joining WebSphere, he served as the CTO for IBM's Pervasive Computing unit. In IBM's hardware unit, he was responsible for IBM's Power based offerings and System z platforms as the Director of System Design. He has extensive experience in architecture, performance, user experience, and standards. Over his career, Todd and his team have worked with numerous open source and standards bodies such as the Apache Software Foundation, Oasis, OMG, JCP, OMA, Linux Foundation, OSGi, DLNA, ISO, ITU-T, etc to deliver standards and reference implementations. He holds a Masters Degree in the Management of Technology from the MIT Sloan School of Business, and a BS EE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
