Computer Science Professor
Marcial Porto Fernandez is graduate in Electronic Engineer from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1988), M.Sc. in Electric Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1998), Ph.d. in Electric Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2002) and postdoctoral research in Future Internet on Technische UniversitÃ¤t Berlin TU-Berlin (2010). Prof. Fernandez is currently associate professor at Universidade Estadual do Ceara¡, and has experience on following subjects: computer networks, Internet protocols, network management, wireless networks, mobile networks, computer architecture and semiconductors. Prof. Fernandez has worked as consultant government of the State of Ceara¡ in Information and Communication Technology (ITC) affairs and has worked on successful research projects with Hewlett Packard, Nokia, CPqD, Padtec, AsGa.
