On 22nd June we organized a meetup in Bangalore, India\u00a0http:\/\/www.meetup.com\/Indian-OpenStack-User-Group\/events\/122386732\/<\/a><\/p>\n

The meetup was attended by over 60 people from varied backgrounds: startups students, researchers, developers, etc<\/p>\n

Event started with a keynote from\u00a0Vijay Bellur (@vbellur<\/a>) from redhat<\/a>\u00a0. He kicked off session with giving introduction about RDO, \u00a0then moved on to Gluster file system. It was a nice presentation & gave complete picture how and where Gluster fits in overall OpenStack project.<\/p>\n\"Vijay\"<\/a>\n

Rags\u00a0Srinivas (@ragss<\/a> ) from Rackspace<\/a> gave a nice presentation followed by demo on jclouds. The demo was\u00a0interesting & a lot many questions were asked & answered.<\/p>\n

Rohit Agarwalla(@rohitagarwalla<\/a>) from Cisco<\/a> was next with presentation on OpenStack Neutron, he gave demo on openvSwitch & Cisco Nexus plugin. He mentioned about the roadmap & contribution from his company on the overall project.<\/p>\n

Last session on\u00a0LBaaS by Pranav Salunke(@<\/s>Dguitarbite<\/a>) from Aptira<\/a>. He gave us overall picture of the project along with roadmap. He was\u00a0youngest\u00a0presenter of the day & was his first presentation on Openstack. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
