The Ceilometer team is pleased <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.openstack.org\/pipermail\/openstack-dev\/2012-December\/004161.html\">to announce<\/a> that it organizes a <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.openstack.org\/Ceilometer\/BugSquashingDay\/20130104\">bug squashing day on the Friday 4th January 2013<\/a>. You can get started by reading <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.openstack.org\/Ceilometer\/Contributing\">how to contribute to Ceilometer<\/a>, from updating the documentation, to fixing bugs. There&#8217;s a lot you can do. Good support for Ceilometer is built into <a href=\"http:\/\/devstack.org\/\">Devstack<\/a>, so installing a development platform is really easy.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/lists.openstack.org\/pipermail\/foundation\/2012-December\/001292.html\">Thinking about the mission of the user committeee <\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Narayan Desai started a discussion about the mission of OpenStack Foundation&#8217;s most important governing body: the User Committee.
