We’ve gotten a lot of great speaking submissions, and would like your help shaping the agenda for the next OpenStack Summit, October 15-18, in San Diego.\u00a0 We’ve made the submissions public for your input, and you have until Thursday, September 13, to vote<\/a> up your favorites. Please note you need to be an Individual Member of the OpenStack Foundation in order to access the voting system.<\/p>\n

While the Design Summit and more technical content will run Monday – Thursday, the main days and keynote presentations will be Tuesday and Wednesday. We’re hoping to have the agenda locked the week of September 17, but in the meantime you can see a preview of the schedule<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We’re also hosting our first OpenStack Service Day on Friday, October 19. Please join us for a beach clean up with the Surfrider Foundation. We’ll be providing transportation and lunch, and will wrap up activities by 1 pm so you can fly out that afternoon.\u00a0 If you’re interested in attending, we can accommodate 100 people, so please sign up<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We’ve extended early bird registration<\/a> through September 30, but\u00a0hotel rooms are going fast.\u00a0 Our blocks at the Hyatt and Embassy Suites across the street are nearly sold out.\u00a0 We’re looking into other options nearby to recommend, but please book a room quickly.<\/p>\n
