{"id":156,"date":"2010-10-06T10:03:04","date_gmt":"2010-10-06T15:03:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/openstack.toddmorey.com\/blog\/?p=156"},"modified":"2010-10-06T10:06:18","modified_gmt":"2010-10-06T15:06:18","slug":"architecture-board-nomination-deadline-extended-to-oct-15th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.openstack.org\/blog\/architecture-board-nomination-deadline-extended-to-oct-15th\/","title":{"rendered":"Architecture Board Nomination Deadline Extended to Oct 15th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Stackers,<\/p>\n<p>When we published the <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.openstack.org\/Governance\">Governance Doc<\/a> recently, I <a href=\"http:\/\/openstack.org\/blog\/2010\/09\/openstack-governance\/\">mentioned<\/a> that we had some deadlines coming up fast. \u00a0Namely, the deadline for nominating someone for a seat on the Architecture Board. \u00a0To give the community some additional time, <strong>we&#8217;ve extended the nomination deadline to October 15th, 2010<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, this pushes out all of the other dates by 2 weeks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date we&#8217;ll publish the candidates is now: \u00a0October 20th, 2010<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Date of the vote is now: \u00a0November 1st, 2010<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.openstack.org\/Governance\">official doc<\/a> is now updated to reflect the new dates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please send your nominations to Jonathan Bryce: jonathan@openstack.org <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In other news, we have passed feature freeze for the &#8220;Austin&#8221; release of OpenStack Compute, and are rapidly approaching the release date of October 21st. \u00a0After that, we look forward to seeing everyone at the <a href=\"http:\/\/openstack.org\/blog\/2010\/09\/the-second-openstack-design-conference\/\">next Design Summit<\/a> on November 9th-12th, 2010 in San Antonio Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Collier<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/sparkycollier\">@sparkycollier<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stackers, When we published the Governance Doc recently, I mentioned that we had some deadlines coming up fast. \u00a0Namely, the deadline for nominating someone for a seat on the Architecture Board. \u00a0To give the community some additional time, we&#8217;ve extended the nomination deadline to October 15th, 2010.
