New Taipei City, Taiwan, June 10th , 2015 – Infortrend® (Public TPE: 2495) today announced it is OpenStack® block storage Cinder ready for EonStor DS family to better support storage demands in data center for cloud environments. This allows companies to deploy virtual machines and scale horizontally with more flexibility and interoperability when using Infortrend storage siystems.
OpenStack is an open source cloud software that is backed by some of the biggest names in public and private clouds. As a commitment to storage solutions in cloud environments, Infortrend developed a Cinder driver that allows OpenStack clouds to oversee and manage the operations of the Infortrend storage systems. The driver is fully customized for better compatibility with OpenStack Cinder and it ensures Infortrend storage systems offer reliable and optimum block-level data transfers.
