Icehouse, the 9th release of OpenStack, is out! Thanks to the 1200+ contributors. OpenStack Icehouse
The OpenStack community participates in a variety of events, ranging from our twice-yearly Summits organized by the Foundation, to sponsoring major industry events, to supporting regional one-day events and user groups organized by local community leaders.
OpenStack Summits are our flagship community events that bring together developers, users, and administrators of OpenStack cloud software. You can find more information about the upcoming OpenStack Summits or contact email@example.com with any questions.
The OpenStack Foundation attends, speaks and secures sponsorships at various global industry events. We like to coordinate sponsorships with ecosystem members, especially when we are able to secure an OpenStack Pavilion on the show floor. You can see the global event calendar or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
If you are interested in throwing a one-day event in your area, please reference the event policy with information and best practices for organizing and branding an OpenStack event. The important points to keep in mind are that any event branded as an "OpenStack" event must be community-oriented, not-for-profit or commercial purposes, with a level playing field for attendees and sponsors. We of course encourage you to promote OpenStack at your own company-branded event if you are promoting products or services, but you cannot use the OpenStack wordmark in the title of your event. Thanks for your support!
