Becoming an awesome OpenStack engineer and contirbuting OpenStack experience to community in Asia Pacific region
Joanna Huang, who has build her great interest in large scale distributed computing system since working for Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG) at CERN in 2007. She has challenged herself to different roles in international collaboration working environment in her career. She was a highly motivated and focused software engineer building distributed monitoring, metering and automation systems for 6 years in Geneva and Melbourne. Then she decided to move her career direction towards DevOps professional in OpenStack cloud computing. Fortunately she was involved in Australian National Research Cloud, NeCTAR, working as a cloud DevOps team lead in a national funded project and integrating OpenStack services into existing Australian ATLAS Tier-2 grid computing infrastructure. She is now working for Aptira continue exploring more OpenStack technologies and business use cases. She is also an active community member who contributes technical and general mentoring assistance to Taiwan user group.
