Involved as cloud architect in two major public cloud projects in France
Patrick Petit is a senior software architect with over 25 years of experience in distributed systems, open-source software engineering, Internet technologies, and IT systems management. Patrick has joined Bull in Marsh 2011 to work as a cloud computing lead architect for the Innovative Products division. He is currently the XLcloud project leader which was selected for subsidization by the French government through its Fonds National pour la Société Numérique (FSN). He is also involved in Numergy and a soon to be announced high performance cloud computing infrastructure project. Prior to working at Bull, Patrick held a position of Senior Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems since 1997. He occupied different software architect roles in the iPlanet Division and Technology Office of the company both in the US (California), and the R&D Engineering Center of Grenoble, where he has a track record of successful achievements including being one of the main contributor of the Java Enterprise System suite. More recently, he completed an MBA at the Grenoble Graduate School of Business (GGSB) with a master thesis that had for subject the business economics of cloud computing.
