Bio
Christian founded CleanSafeCloud, the secure, environmentally friendly collocated private cloud located in Switzerland in 2014. Prior to that, he spent nearly 20 years as a software engineer in the finance industry, mostly writing trading system software in London, UK.
Having successfully used a lot of open source software in their previous life, it took Christian and his CTO very little time to select OpenStack as the foundation for CleanSafeCloud. Being free of legacy shackles meant a few other exciting choices could be made, notably a fully integrated physical+virtual SDN infrastructure. CleanSafeCloud is still in a growth phase but so far these choices have paid off handsomely.
Christian holds a MSc in Computer Science from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
