Bio

I'm a Free Software hacker working at Red Hat. I've been contributing to open source projects for more than 15 years now, in various areas, such as Debian, Freedesktop, Emacs and obviously OpenStack.

What is your relationship to OpenStack, and why is its success important to you? What would you say is your biggest contribution to OpenStack's success to date?

A

I've led and contributed to the Telemetry effort for 4 years now. I participated in large technical debt resolution as part of the Oslo project, and made my best to strive and build awesome communities in OpenStack.

Describe your experience with other non profits or serving as a board member. How does your experience prepare you for the role of a board member?

A

I've spent more than 15 years in open source communities, as a member, leader or board member. I ran and led several organizations, organized events, build communities and made people happy (I hope).

What do you see as the Board's role in OpenStack's success?

A

Listening to users and developers. Making them talk to each other.
