Bio

Matt is an invited member to the world famous NYC Resistor group in Brooklyn, NY.

Matt began his work with OpenStack in the pre-openstack days as DevOps on the original NASA Nebula Project, where nova was initially developed.  He has deployed the first fully production OpenStack clouds in the world.

Since working on the Nebula project, Matt has worked on one of the worlds largest OpenStack public clouds.

Today Matt is working with Big Switch Networks to disrupt networking with the introduction of white box switching and an SDN controller that has tight integration to OpenStack among other things.

Matt is excited about the potential of white box switching and the Open Source project opennetlinux.

In addition to all of the above, he is also a contributor to the ChaosVPN project.
