HP Cloud From 2013-03-11 (Current)
Statement of Interest

As an HP Cloud developer/designer, I am hoping to contribute to OpenStack

For the past 12+ years, I have developed web experiences and products with one goal in mind: to build high quality software that delights the end user. As a strong team player and user-centric web developer, I thrive in an agile development environment, but appreciate all styles of innovative project management. Over the years, I have built on my solid technical foundation by taking every opportunity to learn new technologies; as a result, I have technical skills across the complete software stack, front-end to back-end. I have also fortified my creative skillset by contributing to user experience brainstorming and product decisions. Beyond my main areas of expertise, I'm interested in music and graphic design -- both of which influence my work greatly. I believe that web development must place an emphasis on quality, user experience, and accessibility through clean code and design, smart programming, and rich, immersive experiences in order to achieve and sustain success.

Specialties: Drupal theme and module development for multiple platforms/devices, Drupal scaling, Web Performance Optimization, CSS/CSS3/SASS/SCSS/LESS, Javascript, Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP, LeanUX, UI/UX, Prototyping, Photoshop/Fireworks/Illustrator, Project Management, Mac OS X Systems Administration/Troubleshooting
