Bio

Predominantly worked in Datacom Industry for over 17 years developing multicast routing, mobile IP, MPLS, ATM. Had a short stint in a HealthCare startup. Currently with TechMahindra working in SDN and NFV Center of Excellance.

I'm involved in the following OpenStack projects: Nova,Quantum,Ceilometer,Heat,Ironic,Deployment

What is your relationship to OpenStack, and why is its success important to you? What would you say is your biggest contribution to OpenStack's success to date?

A

Using OpenSTack as a platform for NFV along with SDN technology.

Describe your experience with other non profits or serving as a board member. How does your experience prepare you for the role of a board member?

A

I am also a founder of non profit organization called SAAHAS Foundation which caters to HealthCare in rural India. But not so active now due to day job.

It is very exciting to be independent doing what you love where your spirits are lifted, but at the same time running and growing the organization is very important overcoming the day today hurdles and keeping up your passion.

Value creation and communication.

A

2014 the year for NFV and SDN.
