Candidate is responsible for supporting the sales consultants in meeting their revenue goals. Primary responsibilities include ensuring prospect’s/customer’s complex technical questions and requirements for public cloud services are answered. Individual will explain HPCS infrastructure that includes deep technical questions associated with all elements of our IaaS, Foundation Services, Advanced Services, Data Services, PaaS, SaaS and OpenStack technical architecture. Basic knowledge of OpenStack is required. Individual will working closely with an extended team of senior sales professionals, product managers, engineers and online sales representatives to ensure that proper expectations are set with our prospects & customers. Individual has extensive experience as a sales engineer, working closely with sales teams selling to senior technical executives (CIO/CTO, VP IT, VP, Eng/Dev). The individual’s primary focus is to ensure technical qualification of large and complex customer requirements can be met with our public cloud service offering. Minimum 10 years technical experience supporting sales teams responsible to sell public cloud, utility services, web hosting or managed hosting services or key member of a technical team responsible for architecting customer solutions is required.
